Enjoy garden views at lunch and see the city from Tokyo Bay on a cruise. Begin your day tour at Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife, the Empress Shoken. This huge shrine is an island of tranquility in the very middle of the city. Continue on with a stroll though the vast Imperial Palace East Garden, followed by a visit to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa. Take a peek and see what you discover in the Nakamise shopping street! After lunch cruise around Tokyo Bay on the elegant riverboat Symphony before heading to Odaiba, an artificial island off the coast of Tokyo. On the way back into the city you will drive over the spectacular Rainbow Bridge, lit up with colorful lights, giving you one more magical glimpse of Tokyo after dark!

  • Any cancellations made between 2 business days (18:00 local time) to 1 business days (18:00 local time) prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 40% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made between 1 business days (18:00 local time) to 1 hours prior to the activity start time will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made after 1 hours prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

Restrictions

  • Participants ages 15 to 19 may travel alone with written consent from a parent or guardian. Participants ages 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Children ages 0-5 years can participate for free under the following conditions but will not have their own seat on the bus. They may occupy extra seats if available, however they will not be getting a priority in seating. An individual meal or snack will not be provided as well. If you would like guaranteed seating and meal or snack for children ages 0-5 years, please book them as a child (ages 6 to 11).

Additional Notes

  • Arrival times to destinations are subject to change due to traffic, weather, and other operational reasons.
  • On Mondays, Fridays and other days when the Imperial Palace East Garden is closed, the tour will visit the Imperial Palace Plaza in front of the Nijubashi Bridge instead.
  • Lunch will be a western-style set meal. Vegetarian meals are available but must be requested at the time of booking.
  • The Tokyo Bay Cruise aboard the Symphony may be changed to Atakemaru depending on conditions.

  • You are required to check in at the JTB Sunrise Tours counter located at the Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal after your hotel pick-up. The counter staff on site will tell you which bus to board.
